Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn Quote

“Woe to that nation whose literature is disturbed by the intervention of power. Because that is not just a violation against "freedom of print", it is the closing down of the heart of the nation, a slashing to pieces of its memory. The nation ceases to be mindful of itself, it is deprived of its spiritual unity, and despite a supposedly common language, compatriots suddenly cease to understand one another.”

An accuracy proven through out history, over and over again. By example, the de jure jurisprudence of the nation that was to be States united was "the law of nature and of nature's God" (Declaration of Independence). Such limited application of natural law (individual sovereignty with inalienable rights and liberty) has totally been replaced by an occupying statist theocracy's intervention of power. The legal philosophies of Legal Positivism and Legal Realism, with their compelled compliance, victimless crimes, licenses, larceny (2nd plank of the communist manifesto, police state confiscations, etc.), etc. has slashed to pieces the heart of the natural/common law nation that it was.

Another example is the occupying statist theocracy's local enforcement military. Prior to the War between the States there were no police (county sheriffs only). With in a decade or so before the war, a few experimental trials of Legal Positivism's military enforcement were put into place (Atlanta, Boston, New York, Philadelphia). Initially, the people feared such police as a localized standing army. The new Legal Positivism's "law enforcement" were no longer just; and uniquely agent's of justice but rather, there was merged a We The People violating scourge by/with compelled compliance, victimless crimes, licenses and State larceny.

The nation has ceased to be mindful of itself, it is deprived of its spiritual unity, compatriots suddenly cease to understand one another, and through censorship and other devices have bought about an enslaving ignorance of law.
