Ayn Rand Quote

“The secret dread of modern intellectuals, liberals and conservatives alike, the unadmitted terror at the root of their anxiety, which all of their current irrationalities are intended to stave off and to disguise, is the unstated knowledge that Soviet Russia [was] the full, actual, literal, consistent embodiment of the morality of altruism, that Stalin did not corrupt a noble ideal, that this is the only way altruism has to be or can ever be practiced.”

She should know what she luckily escaped from.

Altruism by force is not an unselfish concern for the welfare of others. Altruism by force is a most heinous lie to justify the immoral. The falsely claimed altruism of socialism (communism to fascism, liberalism to conservatism, progressive to neo-con, etc.) is nothing more than a thinly veiled mascaraed of violence, eluded to, to implement a cast system of power, hate, war and materialistic mongers with the masses being impoverished slaves. Selflessness, the true heart of altruism does not employ the atrocities that the current liberals, progressives, conservatives, neo-cons, etc. do.

And the only thing separating Obama and Stalin is Obama's consolidation of adequate power.
