We see history repeating this right now in the USA...tho one must pray that those are old and wise can share their wisdom with the new folks coming up who have learned so little in the federal education system...

I might add, Democracies end through violence.

I don't agree -- this is an argument for socialism. Republics fall when the principles of republican government are ignored. Any attempt to centralize power in the hands of the President, or the Congress, or the Courts, or the Ballot without having to observe the limits of their jurisdictions as agreed to in the Constitution is a danger.

The American Republic did not fall through luxury -- it fell through the deception and dishonor that brought us the Federal Reserve Act. The US government went bankrupt in 1934. Instead of simply defaulting on government commercial promises and starting new, the plan was made to service the bankruptcy.

As a result, all of America's gold money was confiscated and replaced with interest-bearing promises to pay - Federal Reserve Notes. This fundamental shift from substance to promises brings new meaning to the 'American Dream.' Wake up, it was a con, and our nation has suffered tremendously since its inception -- the private banks now OWN everything, they just rent it back to us -- yes, they say we 'own' it, but we are only 'liable' and any ownership is merely equitable interest subject to the dictates of commercial statutes, an ever growing list!
