Patrick Henry, Red Hill

I do esteem individual Liberty, which is realizable only under the tutelage and constraint of Virtue, above everything else.
What is a nation for, but to secure, under law, the maximum liberty to every individual.

E Archer, NYC

To "secure" liberty is the real security.

Mike, Norwalk

Corporeally speaking as from a Divine attribute - ABSOLUTELY ! ! ! Individual sovereigns unite in administration of the law of nature and of nature's God's order - securing maximum liberty to every individual. Individuals, with such liberty may choose to be slaves BUT, it is their personal prerogative, not a third party despot's.

Robert, Somewhere in the USA

We are losing individual liberty every day and have been since the end of WWll and 911 - and the way things are going there will be no individual liberty to discuss - we have no choice. Unfortunately, the "nation" no longer has the interest of individual liberty. And as for divine intervention, there is none! Mind you, when DHL wrote this it was a lot more attainable; today, it's only a distant cloud on the horizon...

Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown

This conventional notion seems to convey that if it wasn't for the "government" or some other entity we could have freedom. The responsible social being understands that freedom is earned as anything of value is attained. Socialism is the vision of social abilities to create.
