Edward H. Crane Quote

“Article I, Section 8, of the Constitution, of course, lays out the delegated, enumerated, and therefore limited powers of Congress. Only through a deliberate misreading of the general welfare and commerce clauses of the Constitution has the federal government been allowed to overreach its authority and extend its tendrils into every corner of civil society.”

Congress has no term limits. Its members make our laws. Congress has exempted itself from laws regulating insider trading--you read that right. They make our laws and can trade stocks based on changes in the law they know will take place, with impunity. Just look at those bloated, face-lifted FAQers. With but few exceptions, they are the embodiment of vanity. of lechery. of gluttony. of greed. The absolute bottom of the barrel.

And they prefer to be addressed as, "The Honorable". To this, we can apply Ralph Waldo Emerson's quotation, "What you are stands over you the while, and thunders so that I cannot hear what you say to the contrary."

Editor, thank you again for such never-ending hard and diligent work; great job. This quote is to the point and exactly right !

Byron, a great comment that sums it up. Not one of the members of congress should ever even mention corporate greed as they are the epitomy of greed.

Yes, it is a DELIBERATE misreading of the Commerce Clause that has allowed Washington DC to literally take over the world -- with the help of the private central bankers around the world that really roll up into one cabal.

We have no more common law or courts to bring violations of our rights to trial. No, we now have the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) that treats the People like commercial corporations and grants rights and privileges to commercial corporations as 'persons.' Only commercial entities are subject to the commercial law jurisdiction -- not living breathing People.

The merging of all jurisprudence under an admiralty-commercial law hybrid is the quiet tyranny that has been taking away our rights and property for decades -- particularly as a consequence of the Federal Reserve Act and the New Deal.

Since we are using commercial debt instruments as 'money' we are subject to the commercial jurisdiction under which it is regulated. Without real money -- and even the Fed agrees that Federal Reserve Notes are not money, they are promises to pay money -- we are in fact not actually trading in property, we are not 'buying' anything, we are merely transferring the liability to pay the IOU to someone else.

No property is being exchanged -- we in fact do not 'own' our cars or real estate -- we are merely liable for them and thus must pay rent to the real owners. Wrap your head around that one. Better yet, take a look at your 'title' for your car. You do not own your car -- it is held in trust by the state and you are liable for its upkeep, insurance, and damages. You are listed as a 'beneficiary' on the title -- that is a legalism for a trust -- the trust owns the car, not you. And that is why you must follow the rules for its use set by the real owner.

I truly believe that 'security' and 'insurance' are the true culprits to all the unlawful legislation that is forced down our throats generation after generation guaranteeing those that have monopolized this 'insurance' the wealth of all the nations. It's all for our own good, apparently -- the oldest scam in the book.
