Well said - or written, whatever.

For a man whose blades keep going around in circles, Mr Sikorsky certainly knows how to shoot straight.

Barry certainly would not agree with Mr.Sikorsky.

In secular, religious, commercial, charitable, etc. endeavors this statement is very accurate. Anonymous, you must be the comrade Mr. Obamunist Goodwrench the assassin was spouting his lies to.

Yes, but as Obama said, 'You didn't build that -- somebody else did.' Gee, I guess I forget how much the government does for inventors -- I've had it all wrong apparently. So that is where my tax dollars have gone -- I suppose we should just give more, then the government will really invent some cool stuff (through other people of course...) The government is not supposed to be inventing stuff for us -- it is supposed to protect our rights and property from theft and abuse. Now that is an innovative idea!

Patrick Henry, Red Hill

Innovation, generally, is a fruit of independent ideation.

Characteristically, collectives are not known for their originality.

Something such as Mr. Sikorsky would well have understood, since he fled the Bolshevik Involution.

Mick, Manchester

Many great ideas and discoveries are collaborative and dependent on inspirational communities. You can't have one without the other. I also think it's questionable that mankind is moving forward.
