Absolutely ! We hold this truth self evident !

Love of Country? Love of Liberty? Love of our fellow man? Many ways to view this one. I think it's a little abstract but generally applicable.

I go along with J Carlton on this one.

Once again I agree with Mike. By striving for the perfect ideal of what perfect love is the more freedom gained. Unfortunately America has lost sight of this ideal and instead destroyed it with the ideal of what can be gained by perfect hatred. Just look at the 2 political parties ready to tear each others heads off and ditto for the black and white races. There is plenty of love lost in either case and it is both battles that will lead, (and has already led), to the shedding of blood in the streets of America. Stay tuned for an increase of hatred in both cases as the MELTDOWN OF THE economy and the Constitution continue on the road to a perfect hatred.

Profound, but unrealistic. Earth is not a perfect Heaven, nor will it ever be. We live in a world of predators and prey -- that will never change without the extinction of all life. Somehow, we must learn to love it, and then be eaten. ;-) As far as I can tell, I must always be ready to fight and defend myself from bloodsuckers, slavers, and beasts -- I do not have to love them. Even the Dalai Lama swats mosquitos.

It would be the ideal to reach for as it allows each person to take their own direction and if done from a loving perspective, others would not be hurt. It is lovely. Sadly we have a government that is driving a DC Catpillar over the very documents that give us our freedom, our liberty, and any hope for love, unity....

Indeed, Love does cover a multitude of sins.
