Though seemingly a profound quote it simply mirrors the sentiments of many both present and past. The mass appeal of secret societies is due largely to the mysticism in which it has been enshrouded. The Prophet Noble Drew Ali once told his followers "I have pulled the cover off of all the secret organizations." The keys of civilization belong to all of humanity and not just to one particular group because it functions under the status of 'secret.'
