I think the man is correct. It is so frustrating to have a debate with someone who throws things out fast and won't let you finish your point before he makes another. Really, this is simply a rude person, insecure, therefore fast, and wrong.

This is usually accomplished by appealing to people's fears and emotions rather than facts and logic. Religionists and politicians are the worst culprits holding the truth hostage in order to prop up lies. Hegelian dialectic and cognitive dissonance are the most common tactics.
