Reply RBESRQ 7/15/10 Precisely, and the government and church is full it! Reply Mike, Norwalk 7/15/10 The right sees the hypocrisy of the left, the left of the right so, the fashionable vices still pass as virtue. Robert, I agree with you but, you need to expand your list; such as: science, special interest groups, perceived out of the norm practitioners, etc. 1 Reply Abigail, Newport 7/15/10 If there exists agreed upon principles (or laws), such as the United States Constitution, and there are those who would give an Oath of Office to uphold those principles (or laws); then to do so would be virtuous. To do anything other than what was sworn to would be hypocracy. And hypocracy is what we witness today as our representatives are wined, dined, and bribed to do the bidding of whomever has the most money, however indirectly, to further the agenda of said rep. No principles exist in over 90% of those we have chosen to represent us. It is our responsiblility to ferret out those who are hypocrites and know who we are voting for. So we too suffer hypocracy...for many of us take the easy path when voting by choosing the 'familiar name' or the person who promises the most-even if the promises defy the laws of our country. Reply RBESRQ 7/15/10 Mike, I agree, but science tries to work on facts (not always) not fiction. As the saying goes: "Science fly's you to the moon, religion fly's you into buildings" I'm sorry if that's unkind, but it's kind of true. Science is often used by unscrupulous corporations to further their profits and in doing so give science a bad wrap. I believe if we are to fraught the tide of hypocrisy there has to be a real change in education and the way we operate on a daily basis - in other words, it must trickle up as it is obviously not trickling down. Reply jim k, Austin 9/10/18 Reply Mike, Norwalk 9/10/18 Robert, ;-) I like it a lot. In support of your statement: the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land colluded with other religions to fly planes into buildings. Further, many religious dogmas are passed off as science (evolution, fiscal policies, etc.) and then advanced in seminaries and by ecclesiastical propagators (government schools / MSM).
