I think hanging is too good for most of them.

I think Ignorance, myopic vision, destructive to fellow man self interest, and prejudice among others should be added to short memories.

When it comes to the average voter, I'm reminded of a quote I believe I read from a responder on this site. "Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers".

And paperless electronic voting machines...

Very true in line with the phrase, "history repeats itself".

I thought it was issues like guns, abortion, and religion.

If Statesmen are what dead politicians are known as...we need more Statesmen. (Source unknown)

Well I think that they just awakened a sleeping giant and filled his heart with resolve. Our memories are stimulated and come next election day we will not forget. Know how your state reps voted, then you will know how you should vote. If they are bold enough to ignore 87% of us, what else will they do?

Very true, but fortunately, we have videotape today, which Will Rogers never knew Also there are the pundits who keep us reminded. Don't knock the pundits too much.

So true.

We'll see if President Trump keeps his promises.

So far, I am not optimistic.

Very optimistic, if one knows the events to follow. This nation has a date with destiny. Fear not the battle ! Memories grow longer NOW.

If Trump never keeps a promise he has already done a great service to the country by keeping Hillary out of the White House.

E Archer, NYC

Thanks to the Internet, voters' memories and awareness of their representatives actions are getting harder to hide.

We would have had Hillary as president if it weren't for Twitter and Wikileaks.
