As to flowers, many are in our congress. They are Blooming Idiots otherwise known as "progressives", a new name for liberals.

Liberty to the flower is like the unfiltered sun and rain that allows it to grow and flourish with beauty. The beauty and fragrance of a flower is what enables it to be productive. Without liberty, nature cannot be productive.

Robert, one of the great things about libertarian ideology is that I/we can individually think or believe what ever I/we like with out a tyrannical limiting check list like conservatives and liberals. The simple foundation of libertarian belief is obedience to natural law which includes the right to be left alone - your rights end at my nose (and vise versa / no compelled compliance, license, victimless crimes, or larceny with impunity). What mental image are you referencing when you write "don't you Libertarians know your own ideology? I'm not sure how your using the term 'Liberal'? The term liberal, as was worn by the founders has evolved into today's libertarianism. The term 'Liberal' today, infers a socialist theology being contrary to natural law, forced to obey the unsustainable emotions and substantiveless philosophies of the majority or an omnipotent oligarchy. Today's liberals are the equivalent to helots, governmental serfs, and social slaves. From my youth, using today's ideologies, I never understood why anyone would want to be a socialist = a communist / liberal or, a fascist / conservative? What is your definition of 'liberal'?
