Woodrow WilsonWoodrow Wilson, (1856-1924) 28th US President

Woodrow Wilson Quote

“Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the U.S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

With a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle each and every, any and all to Creator endowed unalienable Rights. When corporeal man discovers and implements a circumspect, prudent, and just administration of such laws, freedom and liberty abound. The contrary is also inherently sensed, no matter how much the intellect, greed, or other perversions try to overshadow or eliminate its existence.

By 1913 he should have been able to "name" this hidden "POWER": its face(s) were the men whom controlled him...

J Carlton, Calgary

I would think he was referring to the people that are now manifested as the central banking organizations et al: Those who control the money...control the world.

I think President Wilson was refering to the world's banking barons. Also, in 1913, the Federal Reserve was born at a meeting of these banking barons on Jekyll Island off the east coast of the USA.

    Waffler, Smith, Arkansas

Obviously Wilson was putting down the conspiracy theorists of his day. Conspiracy theories come from the uneducated and unaware mentality of those who wish to actually control things in just their own way and thus anything or issue of which they are unaware upsets their apple cart view of things. Thet see it as some kind of conspiracy agaisnt them. Education and awareness is the answer.

    E Archer, NYC

Yes, well, Wilson was duped into signing the Federal Reserve Act in an attempt to protect America from the banking cartel. Little did he know that the very bill he signed into law was written BY THE VERY SAME BANKERS! Talk about putting the fox in charge of the hen house...

    J Carlton, Calgary

The "fact" of the Conspiracy is no longer a "theory". There is simply way too much information and way too many real indicators to disregard the agenda of the "Money" boys. They're real enough alright, and they want to turn you into a more complete slave.

    E Archer, NYC

The conspiracy is no theory -- it is a well-documented fact. You can even go to Jekyll Island in Georgia where there is an engraved plaque indicating this was the place where the Federal Reserve Act was written. The evidence is overwhelming, and the outcome is exactly what our founders warned us about. Waffler obviously is dependent upon the favors of the system too much to examine his own ignorances. Educate yourself, Waffler -- when you speak of those 'mentally unaware' you are talking about yourself which is well evidenced by your thumbs down of the same kind of quotes from Adams, Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Einstein -- I guess you got a better education than they did -- perhaps you will lend me your Funk and Wagnels encyclopedia so I can get up to your level.

For anyone who is in love with Woodrow Wilson, get the book, "Liberal Fascism". There is an entire chapter on Wilson. He was probably one of our worst presidents, next to Jimmy Carter.

For more on Lincoln, Wilson and Roosevelt, read "A Century of War". (John Denson) You'll get a pretty good idea of "real" American history. The kind they don't teach in State Schools.

The fact is that Willson sat in the hot seat, took the blue pill, had his eyes opened and saw the light. This is not parainoa, it is a wake up call.

    warren, olathe

Who knows what he thought they were afraid of. Mostly their imaginations would be the only rational conclusion. Conspiracy theories are for fools. Especially banking ones.

    E Archer, NYC

warren, it is no 'theory' regarding the issuance of 'money' in this country. Before FDR authorized the Fed to issue interest-bearing fiat currency (Federal Reserve Notes) in exchange for Gold Certificates, the American currency could not be simply printed up and 'loaned' into existence. Our currency now has NOTHING backing it (except for the plutonium in our nuclear arsenal) and the American people are paying income taxes to cover the interest -- and to keep certain classes from never being able to compete with the monopolies that keep this 'conspiracy' going. A true conservative understands that an honest money system is absolutely necessary to prevent despotism. I am surprised you are so quick to dismiss what our founders identified as 'more dangerous than standing armies.' It is an unpleasant truth. As long as there is someone somewhere that can simply print up money and loan it at interest to the rest of us -- and even buy up anything and everything with nothing but thin air -- then we become permanent slaves. Of course, what they 'buy' are our politicians, our institutions, our commercial bodies, our military might, and ultimatly the citizens of the nation.

What do I think ... I think ... no, I know for a fact that Obama is a fucking, sub human, piece of animal shit. Obama is an animal ... a fucking chimp ... the idiots of this country ... elected a fucking monkey. Hopefully they will all die. Monkey ... chimp ...piece of shit garbage Obama and his mutant, ape of a wife.

    Joan, Helena

I have never in my long life heard anybody refer to any president so crudely. I am surprised there is no standard of civility on this site, though maybe it is good to get this kind of vitriol out in the open for all to see and contemplate. This is what racism looks like. Truly our dark side. Not much connection with the Wilson quote, but if you carry this much poison you spew it wherever you can. God bless this divided country and have mercy on the people lost in these hells of hatred and anger. May kindness, compassion and wisdom somehow prevail, and counter the mouthpieces of darkness that goad and incite such hatred and anger when hard times make people vulnerable. May we somehow find our way to greater tolerance, respect and peace.

    Jim, Milwaukee

Well Winston, Our president is not ignorant, sub human, etc. He who judges others is actually judging himself. He is there to get rich, first and foremost. Good for him. It is the fed reserve which is causing all of the problems. " The privatization of the banking industry is more dangerous to a nations liberties than standing armies at its borders" Thomas Jefferson

    Anthony A Villerreal, Minneapolis, MN

Would the truth actually be out if it not be in the privacy of closed doors. Today the men who are rising against those powers clearly are those who speak of God who's name reigns in Heaven and on Earth. The living God as we still know Him today, Jesus Christ. Do you let your fears stay behind closed doors? To whom do you give power?

    Barclay, Loyalton, CA

The Federal Reserve Act was written in 1910 at Jekyll Island. It was passed into law in 1913. And it was to that institution and to the cadre of men who brought it into existence to which the quote refers.

He is talking about the devil.

Wilson was right evidently. Even in these reviews, no one is willing to come out and say WHO owns the banking cartel. I suppose they need to be spoken of in 'code' eh? OR one needs to be a redeemed member exposing the truth as Benjamin Freedman did in his great 1961 speech at the Willard Hotel. Observation of truth and reality is not racism or bigotry. Hating and painting with a broad brush is.

W.Wilson was referring to the Jesuits. No other organisation fits the description so well. All are under their "guidance".

    Liz, Los Angeles

Wow!.  What is done in darkness must and will always come to light.
