The notion of 'diversity' entails exactly the same premises as racism -- that one's ideas are determined by one's race and that the source of an individual's identity is his ethnic heritage.” ~ Peter Schwartz The Racism of “Diversity”, (2003.12.15 )http://capitalismmagazine.com/2003/12/the-racism-of-diversity-2/ Collectivism , Diversity , Individualism , Racism Ratings and Comments 1 Reply Mike, Norwalk 7/30/14 Weirdly written but accurate enough 1 Reply E Archer, NYC 7/30/14 Right -- the collectivists identity themselves as a group. "Us and Them" rather than the individuals comprised. Diversity is an attempt to treat all 'groups' as equal even if it means granting special license to select individuals. 1 Reply Martin Foster, Centurion 8/1/14 True - It's herd-mindedness! 1Reply anonymous 10/15/14 Easy for Peter Schwartz, a member of the historical majority to maintain - as if he had some expertise in the topic. 1Reply Robert, St. Emilion 10/15/14 Again, another dumb quote not worth responding too! 1 Reply jim k, austin tx 10/15/14 If anonymous and Robert are against something, you know it's right. 1 Reply Mike, Norwalk 10/15/14 anonymous, we understand the progressive / liberal - divide / distract / distort use of ad hominems; what is your expertise that you may so vehemently castigate the quote's author and wish to be taken seriously? Reply jim k, Austin 2/26/20 1Reply Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown 1/22/25 No, the core of racism is to ultimately reveal the respective race member's association in the superior race, ultimately revealing themselves as the superior member of the superior race. The individual, "the chosen one" or the G.O.A.T., whatever is at heart of racism. There could be some credibility in this quote with a little corrective assistance in that the notion of race is recognized as an acknowledgement of diversity. This is totally misguided in that diversity is an earned status achieved through difficult laborious strenuous efforts and integrity, as any responsible trait. 1Reply Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown 1/23/25 In addition, in racism the individual is following the present conventional system that is not based a human foundation. It should be stated that the natural individual is not the problem. The natural individual opposes the conventional arrangement. It's the system that's the problem not the individual in their natural human state. If you are practicing natural human tendencies, you are going to find much opposition from the present state of affairs. SaveOk2 SaveOk2 View CommentsClick to view or comment.
