Unfortunately,I agree with this quote.Although,IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY........WHEN WE CHANGE THE WAY WE LOOK AT THINGS,THE THINGS WE LOOK AT CHANGE....sigh.

I partially agree with this statement except for one important factor which invalidates this statement in my opinion.That is the Free Will of all humans which pre-existed "the state".

I agree with the first sentence,first half of this quote and disagree with the second sentence. This "doctrine" referred to as "alien" to America has,on the contrary,become part of the fabric of 21st Century America in my considered opinion.
