This is wrong. We can think what we want, but should only say what is right based on truth. Also we should look out for others more than ourselves therefore what we say should not be at the expense of others. Remember our freedom only extends to the point where it infringes on the freedom of others. Freedom according to our constitution has boundaries, it is not an all-encompassing freedom, that is self-centered anarchy.

This statement is only true when you have an anchor based upon absolute truth. The judicial system throughout the years has been able however, to continuously erode the strengths of the Constitution until it is almost just a piece of paper. Those that made and signed the Constitution believed in absolute truth based upon God's Word, the Bible and used that as an anchor both for the Constitution, our country, and their conscience. Without the Bible as a balance to weigh our actions, "everyone does what is right in his own eyes." Truth is decided by man and by what we "feel" is right and is therefore watered down to whoever can sway a jury to what he wants them to believe b/c our consciences are seared from our continually pathetic actions.

I think this is very true today. It isn't about seeking the truth anymore it is about winning, and usually at almost all cost. I work with teenagers and so many are impeccable liars that it is extremely difficult to know when they are telling the truth. They lie so much I believe they believe their own lies are true. When you put that before MEN who are paid big bucks to WIN, their lies, deceit, withholding of just the right amount of info. makes it almost impossible to find truth in our current courts. When you take God and the truth of His Word out of our character and society, our republic form of government crumbles.
