There is no such thing as "security" especially in a surveillance / police state. Why would we trust a government that does not trust us? Why would we trust a government that uses "terrorism" to scare us all into compliance to said police state, all the while aiding and abetting those very terrorists? It's not just a scam...it's treasonous.

I had some surgery on my eyes recently and the young lady who checked me in handed me two papers and she said it was to explain my privacy rights. It was two pages long and needed my signature. I commented that it should be one line long, "You Have no Privacy, sign here.

Very well said, and rarely addressed. We are kept in a constant 'state of emergency' so that we will not resist the ever increasing police state. Eventually this leads to totalitarianism, democratic or otherwise. These emergency measures are never repealed either -- look at the Patriot Act, still being renewed every October by the president. And more being passed all the time. Where is the check on this? It's a gaping hole in the Constitution.

This quote is from a book published in 1995 and just look at how much more safe and free we are 18 years later. (No sarcasm there!) My wife has a t-shirt with a picture of Geronimo. The caption reads "Trust the Government".

Observation made, we should not have to give up any freedoms held, for the guard to do there job. ref: constitution. Do that which is right and you will have praise of the same. The enemy is in our camp, but the eyes of our God behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. When this is done the people suffer. As our founding fathers took the stand upon the rock conceder Psalm 66. Salvation of a nation is the same for an individual . Doctrines of liberty and freedom by the thirteenth apostle of which and by which we stand as a nation and individuals. Get the picture. Divine Providence.
