The point is merely that nature compels mankind to attain a civil society that treats all fairly with regard to justice. It does not automatically imply a socialist solution. Reply Anonymous 5/18/09 I think universal justice would be a great thing, and I agree with Reston; "a civil society which can administer justice universally" doesn't necessarily advocate a socialistic solution, nor does it support the United Nations (though I do like the idea of the UN).
