J. Edgar Hoover Quote

“The Communist threat from without must not blind us to the Communist threat from within. The latter is reaching into the very heart of America through its espionage agents and a cunning, defiant, and lawless communist party, which is fanatically dedicated to the Marxist cause of world enslavement and destruction of the foundations of our republic.”

Im eleven and i personally think certain things John Edgar Hoover says he needs to do more research on because some of his quotes are just very half baked (not thought throughly).......

Whatever you may think of J. Edgar, he was right on target with this quote.

Do you see this in the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda 21? Try the Growth Management Act, which by the way was never debated by Congress it just appeared. Loss of Freedom is the goal.

Little *Missy* Princess in Chicago.....Here in lies the problem. The education system in this country teaches strong views of Marxism, Communism, and Atheism to our young people which=Radical Liberalism. You are a slave now....and will be for the rest of your life. ALL your freedoms will be gone soon, so enjoy them while you still have them. J.Edgar Hoover was a brilliant man, BTW. Do some research and learn the truth.

When will it be ok to point out communists again and not ok to denigrate conservative constitutionalists?

E Archer, NYC

You are right, warren, somehow it has become politically incorrect to bring up communism these days. Yes, McCarthy made a fool of himself and thus Americans became more complacent about the 'progressive' creep of centralized government and the 'transformation' of the media and educational system. In its simplest form, we have been conditioned to 'collectivism' at the expense of 'individualism'. Individualism requires personal responsibility for survival -- collectivism merely passes the hot potato to someone else. Collectivism is actually a form of servitude.

I sense what Mr. hoover quoted years ago is whats taking place so much more now then then. Yet he was so intuned to it years ago!!
