It is through this that they suffer famine.”Lao-Tzu ~ Lao-Tzu [Li Erh] (570-490 BC) 'Old Sage', Father of TaoismTao Te ChingRatings and Comments Reply jim k, Austin, Tx 8/22/12 It's a sure bet that the "superiors" aren't suffering from famine. Our leaders in congress pass laws for us that do not apply to them. It's no wonder that they will do anything to stay in office and do so for years on end. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. 1 Reply E Archer, NYC 8/22/12 Interesting how the media has paid no attention to the massive growth in the wealth of our Congressmen and Senators these last 4 years. While the nation is being squeezed, the Pelosi, Reid, Gore, and many others have made millions -- doing what? They produce nothing yet still manage to make a fortune while in office. Barry Soetro has made several million bucks, too, with his bogus biographies. I hope that someday it will become common knowledge among the people that politics is BIG business for the politicians -- they could care less about the people. 1 Reply jim k, Austin, Tx 8/22/12 It's interesting how the rich people in congress are always harping about making the rich pay "their fair share" of taxes. These folk give hypocrites a bad name. SaveOk2 SaveOk2 View CommentsClick to view or comment.
