Pierre Lemieux Quote

“Public Choice theory, if nothing else, has taught economists to consider the state as it is, not as it should be in a dream world: the state is a potential tyrant, not a benevolent God.”

A bit of fluff to soften the hard realities of a (beyond "potential") State / God. For example: Keynesian Economics demonstrate well Venezuela's current state of affairs. When the philosophies of men or public choice theory conflict with natural law's absolutes, tyrannical poverty raises its ugly head.

Playing God is as popular as ever! ;-)
