“The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament...”

Sounds good, doesn't it? To disarm all the nations except the United Nations will result in the UN holding all the citizens of the world captive. The UN has not stopped a single war -- now we are to give them all our arms -- and have them under the control of a Russian commander (as was the condition of the USSR to become a member of the UN). We have been duped!!

Let's see...make ourselves subservient to an unelected body with representation from every criminal and despotic nation on earth. Nah, I'll pass.

Let's see... make ourselves subservient to an unelected president with a history of lies, cheating, underhanded dealing and concern for nothing but his rich buddies and acceleration of the creation of Armageddon. Nah, I'll pass.

This State Department memo represents Republican (Bush's) foreign policy, and the Democratic party, internally. Both sides work to promote the "open Conspiracy" . Prediction: the democrats re-take the congress in 06 and in 07 we begin to realize a draft:Mission Accomplished!

I'm blown away that people still support the U.N. - Peace keepers? No. Give up American sovereignty for what? World coercion in the hands of an un-elected and select few? This surpasses the gun-control issue... This would not simply result in the suicide of our freedoms but the actual genocide of entire societies...

I have been aware of this publication for many years. Its good to see it being brought to light finally. This is yet more proof of the coming New World Order and those pushing it. State Dept 7277 came from the mind of JFK, definately not the saint he's thought to have been.

Reston, you can choose to leave these despotic United States anytime he chooses. Where will you go when the despotic UN owns the world? By the way, Bush's "lies" seem to be turning into "truths" these days.

America would go broke if we disarmed - Iraq has cost the US over $200billion and Iraq is in a worse mess today than ever before - freedom, what freedom, the women are now more oppressed than before, kids are getting slaughtered because they want to change their religion, a civil war is raging in Iraq. Iran and the terrorists will benefit from this mess, there are more terrorist today than ever before. Over 2300 of young US service personnel have been killed, 35,000 Iraqi women and children have been killed in the last two years. There were no WMD (the UN achieved that goal, then the US wanted the UN to come in and clean up their mess) There are so many other atrocities going on in the world which the US is not even thinking of helping (sorry, I forgot, none have any oil) China is not a democracy and there is no freedom there for the vast population - where are our tanks and guns to give them freedom (sorry, I forgot, they are our biggest trading partner). We are such hypocrites in the $US its made us blind to reality. How about a Department of Peace - what a novel idea... We as a nation are not ready to disarm (nor the rest of the world) and we will never be while our minds are bogged down with crap and we shoot Ducks and bash Baby Seals because it makes us feel good, We need to rethink our values and our methods of dealing with problems - not rush to the glove compartment for our 45

'Brave New World' (Order) indeed! Were we to have "The disbanding of all national armed forces and the prohibition of their re-establishment in any form whatsoever other than those required to preserve internal order and for contribution to a United Nations Peace Force", we would finally have what the 'corporocracy' would need to realize the dream of having global control of the masses in such a way as to effectively enslave the majority of the planet's population without possibility of redress and without calling it 'slavery'. Notice the phrase "to preserve internal order". I mean, the best way to enslave a workforce is to have that workforce 'police' itself under threat of individual condemnations towards those who would 'step out of line'. We can see the results of generations of that sort of mindset in the Chinese culture. I'm relieved to see that this threat is not lost on those who've commented here. What I'm afraid of is that it's too late to change course already. I'm afraid we're the buffalo herd headed for the precipice. Now - back to gun control - LOL. Thanks Editor.

And of course all the constitutionalists, militias, gun manufacturers, NRA members, and other supporters of the Second Amendment are lining up in droves to hand over their weapons and put on their chains. Frankly, I do not know whether I could actually shoot someone. Nevertheless, I think the time has come to purchase my first AK-47.

Ken, with respect to (Bush's "lies" seem to be turning into "truths" these days) - I'd like to see you point to one - please. Yeah, ONE will do nicely. - Plato - "The worst of all deceptions is self-deception." (but deceit towards a whole nation, forget the rest of the world, isn't a shabby second-best in anybody's book)

    Get the U.S. outta the U.N. & the U.N. outta the U.S.NOW!!!

    Rod Porter, Springfield, West Dakota

Lou - YES! And if the People had any real control over our govt Im sure we would have been out a long time ago. Public opinion is controlled, primarily, by means of the mass media. If any movement to get out of the U.N. ever developed, public opinion would be turned against he idea. Or if that could not be accomplished within the timeframe of the proposed withdrawal, polling which substantiated the LIE that the public loved the U.N. might be used. Or if not that, some "terrorist attack" might happen to distract the People from the proposed withdrawal. If this one was used I think we might expect some grandiose new role for the U.N. for fighting terrorism. Can't say our oppressors have no sense of humor. Look at the army of the "employed" standing around in all our airports now. The response to 911. Haw! The only thing that holds any promise for getting us out from under the domination of the One World Govt at this point is the mass awakening of the People. Do you see THAT happening? Some are waking up, but too few. Maybe we need to focus on one thing. Like getting us out of the UN. Like getting the govt out of education. Like re-visiting the corporate legal entity. Like exposing the false Left-Right, Dem-Repub political paradigm. Any one of these strategic accomplishments has the potential for giving us our country back. Im ready if you are to TRY and get us out of the UN.

I read SD Publication 7277 and found many references to the State. However in this context, the term State refers to a country such as the "State of Israel". When the document says "As states relinquish their arms," or "All states would have adhered to a treaty effectively prohibiting the testing of nuclear weapons", the publication is not referring to the individual states of the United States. I don't like the UN Small Arms Treaty because I know Obama hopes to use it as a way to destroy the 2nd Amendment. I think it will be more difficult than he realizes or even impossible. The Constitution holds that treaties can not interfere with our rights under the Constitution. Time will tell if he is reelected.
