He was correct. The third phrase may be stated as "security-first instead of freedom-first".

He was dead on target, with this being an election year, 2008, just look at all that's been said about "free health care", etc. in politicains speeches, yet the borders are unsecure, and gambling debt is sky high among other things.

I wonder if any of our politicains, especialy our current Commander in Chief (2010), ever crack open a book and brush up on their political history. This would be a good place to start. At least that's the way I see it.
