You are confusing Christianity with what Jesus taught. If you know anything at all about history you will understand that Christain churches have seldom practiced compassion, forgiveness or loving their neighbors. It is only what they claim to believe... not what they actually do. Reply Anonymous 4/16/06 re: Jacob Bronowski quote No scientist ever claims absolute knowledge. Science is the search for truth, not the declaration of truth. Religion is the declaration of truth. Jacob Bronowski as a scientist would understand this difference and see the ridiculousness of dogma without proof. He's being really quite generous to include scientists in the mix as if to say... if scientists actually DID claim knowledge, they would be opening the door to tragedy as much as the dogmatic do... It not only explains the profound context for this quote by Wilson, but closely related quotes by Jefferson, Madison, Andrew Jackson, Lincoln, and many other leaders who woke up to the mega crime syndicate that the banker-controllers are the heart of. 1 Reply anonymous 4/11/06 re: Dr. Paul F. Brandwein quote that is awful. just because you do not believe something does NOT mean that other people don't. what are you going to do when you die and realize that there is a god there that you have hurt so bad that you aren't going to go to heaven. there isn't a chance for you. if i were you i would ask for forgiveness now or you will live your life being another dumbass that knows nothing about living. Just remember, as long is there is a "we", there's a "they" out there too. Reply Anonymous 3/31/06 re: Dr. Kurt E. Koch quote Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. 1Reply Anonymous 3/30/06 re: A. J. P. Taylor quote Why cannot you just read the dictionary? I did, when you told me too, and found that you are tripping over your own brain. 3 Reply Anonymous 3/30/06 re: A. J. P. Taylor quote After having reviewed the various definitions available in my American College Dictionary, I find that we live in a democrratic society, with a government that is republican and democratic in nature. All your blah blah cannot change that. 2 Reply Anonymous 3/30/06 re: A. J. P. Taylor quote I guess then that we do not have a republic, after all. 34Reply Anonymous 3/30/06 re: A. J. P. Taylor quote Sounds so good that one almost forgets how wrong you are, since the form of democracy we have is a representative democracy. 41Reply Anonymous 3/30/06 re: A. J. P. Taylor quote Our republic is not losing its freedom to democracy. Our republic is a representative democracy, losing its freedom to incursions into tyranny by various factions in its ruling bodies, financed by ultracapitalists, who are the same people we might call ultracommunists. Toynbee quote Editor, is this quote for or against? or just an observation 2 Reply Anonymous 3/28/06 re: William Carr quote The laws of the United States do not "supercede" the laws of the States. Each has a clearly defined constitutional jurisdiction to make the laws that are authorized. The federal government simply uses a perverted interpretation of the commerce clause to exceed its authority. That is why federal laws seem to supercede state law. The UN will naturally use some similar perverted interpretation to make national sovereignty moot. 2 Reply Anonymous 3/28/06 re: J. Reuben Clark, Jr. quote Mr. Trice, I would suggest you read some of Thomas Hobbes work. Nations are simply conglomerations of human beings. Human beings are inherently warlike, mostly because we want someone else's things without working for them. Secondly, we all enjoy a good fight now and then. 1Reply Anonymous 3/28/06 re: Dr. Benjamin Rush quote We are not a "Christian nation" - our founding fathers were for the most part Deists who rejected the Christian church and all that goes with it. 2 Reply Anonymous 3/27/06 re: Theodore Roosevelt quote If our leaders were honest then we would be in much better shape. Not too difficult to understand.... 16Reply Anonymous 3/27/06 re: Franklin D. Roosevelt quote If everyone simply took what they need and give back what they can, we wouldn't have hunger in the world. If you can't pay your rent, you shouldn't have to give up any of your income to the government. If it means you might not be able to buy that boat this year, then you have the means to help support the government. Reply Anonymous 3/27/06 re: Franklin D.
