“Your success as a family, our success as a society, depends not on what happens at the White House, but what happens inside your house.”

How true! If parents were raising their kids right, they would grow to be responsible, respectable, morally courageous adults who would mold our government back into what it was meant to be. Parents need to realize that they are forming the framework of the next generation, and therefore the driving force of what will happen to our country when it is passed on to our children to run. Give your children the best of you that they deserve - it doesn't take a village, it takes dedicated parents that realize that it is/will be their most important job/responsibility ever.

Way more accuracy than not. I remember my first college economics class where the professor explained all economics is based on the family unit. If one person per household works, the cost of items (house, car, food, etc.) will follow suit. If 2 parties per household work, the cost of items follows. What ever the parents (mother and father — nuclear family) teach (work ethic, morals, personal responsibility, independence, education, relationships, etc.) the household will follow. There is always an exception but, that is the rule.

Could anyone convey a pertinent rational purpose for the White House?  It appears it would be a significant advancement to replace the White House with a more progressive and vigorous organizational department for developing the governmental institution.
