I agree with Dave from the U.K. Marx wrote his manifesto at a time of great economic and social unrest in Europe. His main complaint seemed to be the exploitation and impoverishment on workers by the merchant class. Wal-Mart under-pays it employees and offers classes in obtaining food stamps and wic for it's many employees so Marx criticism of greedy merchants back in the 1800's is still valid today. Marx was forced into exile and survived on the generosity of friends until he died in the poverty he fought against. I think Marx is just a straw man modern fascists use to keep controlling abused and under paid workers. Fascists suck.
