Real capitalism has never been tried because because real capitalists would never tolerate it. They rely on government's passing law to regulate markets. And if the market doesnt go their way, they expect the government to save them. You can't have pure economics (which is what 'real capitalism' would essentially be) because politics will always intervene. And that is not the same as saying the government will intervene. I love the way Rand equates pure economic behaviour with morality. It has nothing to do with it.
