You quote that we have fallen for propoganda and the reiterate your tiresome and boring assertation's and name calling by singling out what you percieve as right wing extremism being the cause of all things evil.. Therefore your comment is pointless and makes no sense. But that's normal for a gay liberal. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/12/10 re: Bellamy Brooks quote Best example lately would be the self adoring Kenyan presently ensconced in our White House. Problem is, he really is no fool...he knows exactly what he is doing...to us!. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/12/10 re: Abigail Adams quote The word used most often that is twisted to purpose is probably "Patriot". Some feel that blind obedience is patriotism, it isn't, it's loyalism. Others feel they are patriotic to a country's founding principles. I stand with the latter, in a Jeffersonian sense. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/12/10 re: Sir Winston Churchill quote Churchill was not without a few sardonic observations. And that is a pretty good one. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/11/10 re: Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. quote RBE, do you mean the choice "you" make? 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/11/10 re: William Ellery Channing quote Driven into the sea RBE....you're one of them. Theiving waste of skin. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/11/10 re: Mahatma Mohandas K. Gandhi quote Hey jim k, With what you said in mind...think I'll throw on some coveralls and a stars n stripes ball cap on backwards...load a couple dogs in the truck and head over to the gun shop and buy a new shotgun...just to see how many liberals I can piss off today! lol Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/11/10 re: Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. quote Correction: It is being considered in legislation. 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/11/10 re: William Ellery Channing quote Mike, my wife an I buy school supplies for 20 to 30 kids in Peru every year. Why Peru? Because there is no bureaucracy attached and the money actually goes somewhere. We also volunteer our time and money to renovate buildings at a nearby YMCA Outreach camp for underpriveleged kids. We do this with money we've already been taxed on. So I'm more than a little tired of the socialists who volunteer nothing but the taxation of others and call me greedy and selfish. As far as I'm concerned they should all be driven into the sea for being the thieving wastes of skin that they are. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/11/10 re: Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. quote jim k, true enough. Canada has now joined the US in giving Police the power of unwarranted search and seizure. We are at a cross roads and there will have to be a great reckoning...before it's all gone. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/11/10 re: Lawana Blackwell quote If that is slavery, then it is self imposed and can not be helped. It's when others actually force you to pattern your life around their "opinions" that you have slavery. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/10/10 re: Reverend Martin Niemoeller quote RBE...We have laws against the kind of behaviour you describe. And an emotional evaluation of anything is useless at best, but doesn't amount to heartlessness. 3 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/10/10 re: William Ellery Channing quote Anoymous...that is small minded, ignorant and baseless. But then, that's the Liberal/Socialist way isn't it? Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/10/10 re: Pythagoras quote If I am master of myself, I am free to achieve and I am free to do so in any way my talents allow. Always though, within the guidelines of natural law and with respect for the rights of others to do the same. Or I can just use one word expletives to express myself like depressing old anonymous above. What's the matter? Welfare check late? Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/10/10 re: Reverend Martin Niemoeller quote I can define my freedom as being exactly that. If I am free to achieve excellence, thereby contributing to my standard of living and the community in which I live, then I must be free to do so. Or I could join hands with the socialists and we could skip and sing while wearing our burlap sacks and praise our owner's. All the while hoping they'll feed us again today...Nawww, think I'll go out again today and try and produce something of value instead. 3 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/10/10 re: William Ellery Channing quote And that is exactly the underlying truth of Libertarianism. While the shreiking left would have others believe that Libertarians are selfish and greedy, the fact is we can not advocate for ourselves that which we would not protect for all. Liberty must be universal or it is a false doctrine. 5 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/9/10 re: Alexander Ivanovich Herzen quote Public Policy is exactly the case in point Waffler. Its immoral that 51 can run the lives of 49. Rationalize on behalf of your beloved statist theocracy all you want...it's still immoral and wrong. 9 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/9/10 re: Alexander Ivanovich Herzen quote So Waffler, when 51 out of 100 people vote for goodies for themselves and tax the other 49 to get them...this is moral? Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/9/10 re: Justice Charles Evans Hughes quote A dictatorship in disguise? Qualify that Waffler. Or shall I just assume that to be yet another Liberal assertation with no basis of any kind? Typical emotional crap from the far left. And your democracy as we now know it is corrupt beyond repair. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/9/10 re: Antoine De Saintexupery quote If your neighbor did to you what your government is doing to you...you'd kill him. 6 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/9/10 re: Alexander Ivanovich Herzen quote Amen Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/9/10 re: Justice Charles Evans Hughes quote Democracy simply does not work in concert with autonomous liberty. It is in fact merely another form of social organizing. Add to that, two centuries of "interpreted law" loosely based on a Constitution that was meant to gaurantee our liberties and you have a "democracy wherein we lose our individual rights at the drop of a hat. And voting becomes political mastur..... 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/8/10 re: William James quote We used to call that common decency. Seems to have dried up in the new progressive "socialist" America. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/8/10 re: Thomas Szasz quote Unless the hand that is feeding you is doing so through a voluntary contract between private individuals, ie: Your Employer...you should always bite the hand that is feeding you. Let no one dare to presume they have the right to feed you as though you were a pet or caged animal. Previous 25 Next 25 SaveOk2 Share on Facebook Tweet Email Print
