Lewis quote Canadian...isn't she the Canadian equivalent of Diane Feinstein the great gun grabber? I see what you mean... 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/14/13 re: Noah Webster quote Walter, we've strayed from the original thread a little. Being a Libertarian I'm more or less in agreement with you. But however bloody a revolution, the intent of which being to secure liberty, might be it must be considered necessary if a people are forced into a position which demands it. I am not advocating violence here, but if the state feels intimidated it feels so because it's activities are agitating "We The People" in their normally peaceful existence. And the cotton States had in fact legally seceded. And the Confederate Constitution was to have included emancipation once they had secured autonomy from the north. It was considered too radical to include initially as the organizers of southern defense needed the support of slave owning land owners. Slavery would have died a natural death in the US as it did in much of the rest of the world. In other words that war was about control of southern resources, raw materials etc. for the industrial north...not slavery. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/13/13 re: John Trenchard quote An armed society is a polite society. If people learned to use weapons of self defense, and actually did use them...our crime rate would drop to zero in about 6 months and the threat of tyranny would slither back under a rock and stay there. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/13/13 re: John Trenchard quote Actually Reston..."sick" is where your mind seems to dwell as evidenced by your constant allusions to death in general. The advocates of gun ownership posting here are speaking in terms of self defense and defense of liberty, not death...that's just you. And that you should feel that the disposal of a yet to be born human being is is okay...is only further evidence that death is "your" mind set. Get Help. 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/12/13 re: Steve Dasbach quote Well Dr. Cooper....when the same state that hands down the "education agenda" that you must adhere to, relinquishes it's hold on parents to discipline and teach their own children morality and ethics....you might have an argument. Until the government under whose directives you work...gets the hell out of our family lives...and quits "dictating" morality...you have no argument. 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/12/13 re: Ludwig Von Mises quote What may not have been recognizable decades or centuries ago was the long term agenda of the banking elite to eventually run the planet and control every aspect of our existence. It is now more than obvious to anyone who wants to do a day's worth of research that it is the same banking elite who now "own" our governments. The only things that will negate this long term and very subtle agenda are documents like the British North America Act and the Constitution of the United States and people's determination to hold those "enshrining documents" above this controlling agenda. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/11/13 re: James Paterson quote "Pro gun lackeys"...LMAO...totally reminiscent of Mao`s Imperialist Running Dogs....anything to stir up motions...hahaha Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/11/13 re: James Paterson quote Hanson....that doesn't even begin to make sense...have you figured out how to uninvent guns yet? Because that's the only way to acheive your fairy tale utopia. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/11/13 re: James Paterson quote The desire to defend one's self and one's property is as natural as the sun rising and hard wired into the DNA of everything with a heartbeat. The gun grabbers are incapable of understanding this most basic and simple of natural laws. In fact accoring to Diane Feinstein, it's "legal to hunt humans" in the US. And that's why she feels guns should be taken away. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypHaYAv_EEw&feature=player_embedded) I can't believe this incredibly stupid woman has actually been allowed to propose any sort of law...let alone one that directly contradicts the Constitution. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/8/13 re: Thomas I. Emerson quote The system depends on you not asking too many questions....ask them anyway. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/8/13 re: Thomas Erskine quote I would not agree that the press in Canada is "conservative controlled" but I would say that it is not nearly as "left" as it is in the US. As a social and fiscal conservative I consider the Stephen Harper (Canada's PM) administration to be a mixed bag of nuts. He has done some very sensible things while quietly going along with a Globalist / UN agenda which in the States would be seen as a left wing policy. He wants to be seen as a main stream conservative while he sells Canada's sovereignty down the toilet...just like Obama. In any event the Canadian press generally displays no more ethical value than it's American neighbors when you look beyond the platitudes. The truth still isn't being told in a 'truthful" manner. And I agree with Hanson in that Corporations and Government need to be separated...it's the only way to end Elitist corruption. 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/6/13 re: Ludwig von Mises quote No normal human being wants to kill anyone. Only when there is no other way to secure their safety will any one take up and actually use arms. This is true of tyranny, oppression or a home invasion. Moral people will act in a moral manner to preserve their lives and the lives of their loved ones. As Archer says...it's a simple statement of fact. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/5/13 re: Bertrand de Jouvenel quote Working FTM....Waffler is generally unbalanced. He has some lucid moments, but not many. He doesn't get that industry provides for those that want to work...welfare provides for those that don't and EVERYBODY else pays for the welfare class. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/5/13 re: Karl Marx quote Al, DC...you put that one in perspective and I stand corrected.Archer nailed it when he said the banking cartel nationalized the nation. Spot on. Abolish the Fed. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/5/13 re: Albert Jay Nock quote The State, Waffler, as it is commonly used refers to the Leviathan Government and all of it's bureaucratic entities that are in conflict with a Free Republic. This ever increasing cancer is destroying the nation. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/5/13 re: Hubert H. Humphrey quote Simon in Victoria.....do you realize that Canadians are statistically better armed than Americans? Do you realize that canadians also have a right to keep and bear arms written into the British North America Act? Do you realize that all of your liberal arguments have no basis in logic or reality? What color is the sky on your fairytale planet anyway? No Guns = No Rights. None. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/5/13 re: Murray N. Rothbard quote Waffler Says: In my world, my city, my county, my state, and my national government is run by my society... No Waffler none of those entities are run by society, unless by society you mean The Globalist Bankers, The UN, The CFR, Crony Corporatist Interests, The Bilderberg's and others..."Society" has no say in anything any more. We live in a soft tyranny that has an overall agenda of population control and the destruction of soveriegn rights. The Land of The free...is disappearing very quickly. 62Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/3/13 re: Adolf Hitler quote Dr. Tom, Libertarians advocate the Constitution and the fact that we are a Constitutional Republic, why don't you start your research there? It's not radical at all, unless you want to impose your will over rhe American people. 5 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/1/13 re: Richard M. Cohan quote "Impose our agenda" Doesn't get much plainer than that does it? Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/1/13 re: Thomas Jefferson quote Reston says: "Waco & Ruby Ridge were not the homes of patriots, but rather of radical fools."....You have to be one seriously cold heartless B***h to think that anything justifies shooting a mother dead while she's holding an infant and poses no threat, or burning people to death because you don't like the way they live...but then you're a Liberal so it does make sense, doesn't it? When the authorities are acting with impunity to commit murder...then TJ's words ring loud and true. 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/1/13 re: Edmund Burke quote James Burch...you should be more specific...White "Democrats" cheered.... 4 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 3/1/13 re: Doris Lessing quote Political Correctness is a large scale gag order. Ignore it and tell it like it is... 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/28/13 re: Joseph Paul Goebbels quote When the Governing Regime has all the guns, I guess their rights are whatever they say they are....Who's to stop them? Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/26/13 re: Milton Friedman quote Equality is outlined in the Bill of Rights...nothing more and nothing less will do. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/26/13 re: Herbert B. Swope quote Carol...you're right, it's quite obviously Anti-American. The major news outlets are all owned by pro-Globalist corporations and are working to stupefy Americans and destroy the nation.
