By nature they are alike, selfserving. But learning truth does not set you apart, or it shouldn't and doesn't in my life. It rather creates a unity with those around me because we're all in this together, trying to figure out what is what and how to do it right.

Both Berley & Ken speak the truth! Although, PC I think can have substance. As a cannon fodder for the attention of those who are obligated to it. I'm reminded of an example of an early English king who ruled behind his nobles back when they could have stopped if they noticed. But he kept them occupied with the fasion of clothes he wore. If they wern't up to spat with the king they were frowned opon. The case is the same with political correctness, it takes our attention away from what really matters.

Granted, liberty does usually deteriorate in a democracy. But in what form of government doesn't deteriorate? Most governments die by wearing down, growing old and getting to fat to hold there own weight. Any good government is attained entirely by a virtuous people, the form of All government can only slow corruption this doesn't just apply to democracy.

It would be more acurate to say that most evil is done in secret, but not all secrets are evil. And many are best kept secret. The secrets kept for a motive that is deceptive and evil yes should be revelled, Like what is really going on in area 51??

The natural man is an enemy to God, hence the qoute that freedom fighters are in the minority the super majority of the time.

It depends on what the, class, safety, satisfaction or idea is. The class could be a bunch of imoral jerks. The safety could mean gun control. The idea could be evil.

Leaders should not gain the trust of the people because of the office they inherit.

Its all about perspective, If you are right (Whether you know you are or not) it is bad to be oppressed by a minority and worse by a majority.

Is God corrupt? As said: "it has been proved many times through history." I agree, but it has not been proven everytime. Change it to: Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power tends to corrupt absolutly.

Ha ha, the response above mine is the best line on the page! Offically the above qoute is true, democracy is very limiting but leaders usually find a way around it when there motiveated.

How do you gain truth except by questioning it? By truth I mean something you know is true it has been proven so many times in so many differant ways that you would die rather then recant it. You can be instructed and educated but the only way to get truth is to question your knowledge.
