There were no homeless in the Soviet Union, infact it was against the law to NOT have a permanent place of residence. Less than 2% of the Cuban population lives below the poverty line. Compared to 14% of Americans who live in poverty and the 80+% of (capitalist/US influenced) Haiti or Dominican Republic.
