There is NO WAY Feinstein made a statement like this as recently as 2013. Although I do believe she said it a LOOOONG time ago, I'm sure, given her now famous status as an ardent anti gunner, she is sorry she ever made it at all thus cementing her status as one of Washington's biggest hypocrite liars. Reply Larry, North Bergen 9/9/09 re: United States Supreme Court quote I consider the foundation of the Constitution as laid on this ground: That 'all powers not delegated to the United States, by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States or to the people' (10th Amendment). To take a single step beyond the boundaries thus specifically drawn around the powers of Congress, is to take possession of a boundless field of power, no longer susceptible to any definition. --- Jefferson Does this now mean "NOTHING?" Army Training Manual No. 2000-25 quote As a younger man, more interested in cars and girls, and tired of books, I distinctly remember being at the old Navy Arms store in Ridgefield New Jersey, (now New Hersey), and picking up an old copy of the US Training Manual from among other dusty books in a battered cardboard box, thumbing through it and coming to the passage quoted here. Many times in ensuing years I had wished I had plunked down the few bucks for the price of that copy so as to reference that passage. IT IS NO HOAX as much as knee jerk responders, ( and with the 'knee' reference I'm being kind), like Jim in Olympia want it to be. God bless the internet, this site, The U.S. Army and the United States. 1 Reply Larry, North Bergen 2/5/08 re: Abraham Lincoln quote "Shortly before his assination" is not exact enough!
