I know of no Nobel (anything) that wasn't a "member" of the global collectivist elite. And, as such, should be considered suspect, if not outright dangerous to liberty. Aside from the above, I find nothing held in common between liberty and coercion. "For in seeing we have such great hope, we use great plainess of speech." A thought that if known, was ignored by Fredrich, much to the detriment of his credibility.

Chesterson speaks well on this subject. "Straight is the way, and narrow is the gate......" does not describe a person who is so broadminded that they are flatheaded. True righteousness requires that one be rigid, and uncompromising when the issue is original U.S. Constitution, for instance. Perhaps I should have said the Bill of Rights instead, but you get the point. If you begin to compromise with "Congress shall make no law" you have started down the road to destruction. Kind of like a seduction. It starts small. A kiss, then a touch, then a button and before too long the object of your desire is without clothing, etc,. etc.

Ronald Reagan said quite a good number of good sounding "snippets." Unfortunately, we, the people, got the rhetoric and the thugs that put him in office (and surrounded him while in office) got the action. Just look at what he actually DID as Gov. of CA. through his time as President to see the REAL man.
