This is even more true in our day....as Paine said "If trouble must come, let it come in my day, that my child may have peace." Amen to the father's willingness to sacrifice his hopes and dreams for that of his children.

Not! What a shallow, simplistic view....Dick. If the US is the source of the world's problems, why do we have to fight to keep them out? "Our Country" includes YOU. People who see the benefit of freedome and free enterprise and yet still insist on socialism and paternalism will remain mired in misery-....we are not exporting that...are we? Churchhill said it best: Capitalism's problem is the unequal distribution of wealty, while socialism's virtue is the equal distribution of misery.
