To a completely pure perfect and righteous God once we have sinned even once we are guilty of that sin eternally, and the good deeds that we do that try to make us holy and righteous again in a perfect and pure Gods eyes are like filthy rags. God sees our good deeds as filthy rags, worthless. You can never earn your acceptance from a perfect God. But you can thank Him for giving it to us by accepting the truth, because He loves us regardless of our works.
