There is no reason at all that striving for social justice should equal diminishing individual freedom. The one isn't inversely proportional to the other! In fact they are equivalents - social justice and individual freedom are one and the same thing in the end. This guy should have his Nobel revoked! Just another right winger who thinks that societies purpose is to enrich and empower those few already rich and powerfull at the expense of all the rest. 2 Reply Simon, Deep cover, BC, Canada 5/5/05 re: James Anthony Froude quote Individual liberty, justice, equal representation, all those good things, are not ideas to be believed in, they are integral parts of the fabric of life, to be lived and practiced and fought for by the common man, every single day, if not, they will be taken away, regardless of the form of government. 2Reply Simon, Deep Cover, BC, Canada 5/5/05 re: Ovid quote Perfect. The American electorate to a T. Americans are indoctrinated with liberalism and the ideas of equality and freedom from birth, and what do they end up supporting more often than not? A bunch of right wing fundamentalist bigots whose every action is to enrich and empower themselves at the expense of the very people who vote for them!
