Gandhi quote The people who fought most effectively for my freedom are almost none of them soldiers, though their enemies often were. Some didn't even need to fight, such was their influence: Christ, Gandhi, Thomas Jefferson, William Wilberforce, John Stuart Mill, Louis Riel, Karl Marx, John Maynard Keynes, Martin Luther King, John, Robert and Ted Kennedy, John Kenneth Galbraith, John Hume, to name a very few. The list is long, thick, and hopefully will continue until there is no further need. Our servicemen and women are certainly fighting for something - I'm just not sure freedom or democracy are the right words for it. Let's keep working for a better tomorrow. Cheers! P.S. Try voting for that Obama guy. He seems nice. SaveOk2 Share on Facebook Tweet Email Print
