Unfortunately, this quote is historically inaccurate. The Nazis did no such thing and never confiscated all guns in private hands. In fact, the 1938 revision of the 1928 firearms law (created specifically to limit the power of the Freikorps including the Nazi SA) loosened restrictions, lowered the age at which gun permits could be obtained, and widened the kinds of firearms citizens might own. Jews, of course, we're banned from ownership.
