And that's what's so stupid about anti-drug campaigns: they don't admit that. I can't say I feel particularly scarred or lessened by my experimentation with drugs. They've gotten a very bad name.” ~ Anjelica Huston Drugs , Media , Propaganda , Tolerance , Truth Ratings and Comments Reply Anonymous 10/12/05 Reply Mike, Norwalk 6/17/14 Different drugs, are different, to different people. Of course, the full story of drugs (specifically and generally) is never told. Sheeple and tyrants alike only hear and say that which will further their agenda. Of course the whole story of what has been discovered is not told. Some very vision inducing, well observed, knowing there is a gate to higher levels of comprehension and understanding ones on surroundings. Natural and supernatural states of being. That is the gate, government wishes to understand first, before domesticated people return to a natural state of experience and understanding. Reply jim k, austin tx 6/17/14 Yes, drugs have a bad name and The War on Drugs has a worse name. It causes about a hundred times more problems than what it's supposed to cure. Go back to prohibition of liquor and see what a failure it was. Fortunately it was repealed and the nation was better off. The War on Drugs should go the way of alcohol prohibition. See LEAP.cc. Reply jim k, austin tx 6/17/14 Oops, sorry about the 5 stars. Reply anonymous 6/17/14 Mike is right; all drugs are not the same. It's like saying fluids are bad or good. They're all different. We just have this Calvinistic tendency to lump all 'drugs' into one category. Alcohol is not the same as heroin. Nicotine is not the same as LSD. On and on. All things to their proper measure. Reply Bobble, Charlotte 6/17/14 "Drugs were fun." So's driving excessive speeds. There are some "fun(s)" that leave no noticeable initial physical or mental effect, some leave scars no-one wants. Problem: I want to be able to do what I want --- and everybody else has to pay for it -- not solely in fiscal terms, but other less obvioius ways. Raped ? Got drugged and didn't know it? Well, at least he had "fun." Many kinds of drugs produce good results when properly administered, but are at the least questionable. Too much aspirin can be bad for your tum-tum, folks ! CAREFUL !! Reply Robert, Orange, Ca. 6/18/14 Drugs used for a medical purposes are fine, but so called recreational drug use is almost always completely useless and counterproductive. For most people it's the beginning of their demise and the untold destruction left in their wake. I understand alcohol in moderation can be fine but most drug users lose the ability to moderate and often take it to excess.
