Justice Antonin Scalia Quote

“The basic problem is simply that the Congress has become professionalized. It has interest much higher than ever existed before in remaining in office. It has a bureaucracy that is serving it. It is much more subject to the power of individualized pressure groups as opposed to the unorganized feelings of the majority of the citizens.”

I'm not sure how to rate this. The statement is accurate enough in its observation and conclusion  BUT !,  It is just another misdirection sophistry. For example: neither "individualized pressure groups" or, "unorganized feelings of the majority of the citizens" falls within the de jure form of: "a republican form of government" that was to represent individual sovereigns inalienable rights (inclusive of life, liberty and property). AND, to start the statement off with: "The basic problem is", is, in context, the whole of the statement is a blatant attempt to focus on and give legitimacy to the illicit, immoral and enslaving system that has replaced original intent and established order.
