Carey McWilliams Quote

“Censors are infused with the sentiment of moral indignation – a dangerous and misleading sentiment because, by blinding those who voice it to the real reasons for their indignation, it makes them puppets whose fears can be manipulated for ends and purposes they do not foresee or intend.”

~ Carey McWilliams

censors; Facebook, Google, Twitter, beware.

Great observation  we hold this truth to be self evident.

That's not a bug, it is a feature of censorship.  It doesn't change the fact that the emperor is still wearing no clothes.  The programming does not work for everyone, and people can awaken (and do) and are able to let go of obvious falsehood and become liberated from the bondage of lies.  It takes constant effort to keep a lie alive, it takes only a second to realize it.
