Yes life takes some circumspection and some give and take to another persons views (lies) and positions. The human organism is full of feelings, thoughts and interpretaions that have little to do with science, facts or truth. Like all organisms it (the human one) is primarily out for personal survival or selfishness. But the higher calling (divine nature if you will) comes to the realization that we are all in life together, thus democracy. Reply E Archer, NYC 9/6/12 Yes, I believe Waffler has demonstrated this perfectly -- at least the twisted view that man is corrupt as an individual but in the group he is saved. Groupthink is the primary vehicle for propagating those artful lies. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 9/6/12 Good observation Archer. I generally avoid people who are so insecure and dependant that they need to "belong" to a group that provides for them. On the other hand, I truly enjoy the company of rugged individualists and free thinkers. Reply Mike, Norwalk 9/6/12 We've just experienced 2 conventions that exemplify the accuracy of the statement - what an art it is to live in the lie.
