Though the statement is true, Politicks becomes real relevant when tyrants begin to rule, freedoms are diminished, sovereigns are incarcerated for failure to comply with compelled compliance, rules on victimless crimes, the theft of the labors fruits, license, AND people start dying in wars for political irrelevancies.

Politics is to distract and reprogram people. Tell them about the irrelevant and they forget about the important, or say a lie often enough and it becomes truth. i.e. You owe taxes, Global warming, We must help Iraq...
