One current example of this is "The War on Drugs", which has strengthened the gangs selling drugs.

Unintended consequences are the norm.

The use of the term "Law" here is one one of the most miss-used concepts in the suppression and prohibition of freedom, liberty, and inalienable rights. The de jure States united first attempted to create a foundation of natural law (the law of nature and of nature's God) with codes, ordinances, regulations, rules, statutes, etc. only being tools in describing the order thereof. Such concept defining term, "law" becomes a misnomer when despotism's job security replaces freedom's definition (law) with tyrannous tools (misnamed 'law', to suppress and prohibit).

Let us never forget that Stalin's Russia and Hitler's Germany were also run by "laws".

Joe, not only has it strengthened the gangs selling drugs but has caused many other major problems. See LEAP.cc for more details on this War on Drugs.

Without the reams and reams of statutes on the books, lawyers would be out of work. And what a great job, too -- making hundreds of dollars PER HOUR railroading people through the 'justice system' which is nothing but a fleecing operation. And these guys love it, too. Makes me sick.
