or they only see the mote in the other man's eye.

The government should just look in the mirror to find the problem.

My thoughts immediately go to anyone who voted for Obama based on skin color or their ability to stay on welfare.

Ken, Allyn, WA

There are too many people who have the "perfect" solution in search of a problem. Therefore a problem must be created to put the solution to use. Never let a crisis go to waste.

I voted for Obama for CHANGE - O dear, O dear, O dear. We are the problem!!!!!!!

jim k, Austin,Tx

The problem is voters who keep electing thugs like we have in Washington now. November is trash removal month.

E Archer, NYC

"It's the money system, stupid!" jim, how the hell do you take out the trash? We vote people in, not out. The game is fixed by fixing the choices -- when the people stop voting for money, then the money power will have no effect. But right now, if there is a Democrat in office, he/she is replaced with a Republican, who essentially does the same thing but for different power groups. Any candidate that is part of a party is but a pawn in the money game. Are you running for office, jim k? Why the hell not?!! The reason is the reason trash will be replaced with trash. I would vote for jim k as president if his name were on the ballot -- but getting on the ballot is the real challenge...

Nice take, Ken.

I think we all need to get on our face on the ground and ask GOD for HIS forgiveness then get to our feet and take back what we have given to the enemy of our soul! Till we do, thiungs won't change Duncan

I'm with E. Archer, NYC. We are nothing but poor schlubs who are caught in a "fixed" game. We have no chance of winning if we allow the "ruling class" to set the parameters before each election. Archer is right, there isn't a whit of difference between a Democrat and a Republican regardless of all the rhetoric. Basically, they are all after our money and our allegience which equates to power for them. We have to start from the ground up like our Founding Fathers did. However, I don't believe we have the committment to do anything rash. Look at the proud Cuban people under Castro. They are totally helpless and cannot hope to rise up and wrest the government out of the hands of their "ruling class" and neither can we. Obama knows this well which is why he is so successful at raping both the Constitution and the people of America with such impunity. The time for talk is over.
