“In the highest antiquity, the people did not know that there were rulers. In the next age they loved them and praised them. In the next they feared them; in the next they despised them.”

I like the observation. The occupying statist theocracy now infesting this land is loved by its doting patrons, feared by the masses (IRS, NSA, local standing armies, etc.) and despised by the free at heart non-slave.

In today's age, however, there are people who do not know there are rulers, there are those that love them, there are those that fear them, and there are those that despise them -- they are called political parties today. Count me in the last group.

The 'Powers that Be' desire us to be their happy, controlled, monitored, ignorant little slaves, that haven't a clue as to what is happening.
We must take an early stance against history repeating itself.
