From Socrates to Locke and Blackstone, natural law was based on morality. The problem with that was everyone has a different moral code. The U.S. Founders turned that around. Natural Law defined that which was / is (gravity, physics, fiscal law, etc.) with morality being that which was in harmony with natural law. Dr. King's reference to "moral" is in harmony with his God and the U.S. Founder's definition. His use of law here also reflects carnal man's rules of tyranny (so called law)
