Like music to one's ears could be offensive to someone else's ears.

It was Designed to protect offensive speech, not offensive behavior ! Unity like Liberty is a Responsibility. Some people have no Ear or taste for Good harmonious music. There is no discord in the song of Liberty and Freedom defined. Licentious liberty is used by design, to go beyond the then, and now, current orthodoxy which promotes tyranny through socialism. It is better to instill Moral Responsibility than Licentious liberty without moral restraint, as socialism promotes to tear down a moral society. One star for a questionable character who would defend corruption.

To the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land and, to all its zealot patrons (helots, serfs and slaves) - the law of nature and of nature's God, liberty and inalienable rights are extremely caustic to their being. The mere mention of such caustic nature is offensive speech to said helots, serfs and slaves. Contrary to the First Amendment, zones have even been set up to protect against related offensive speech. A body politic of servants was implemented once upon a time in a far off land to protect inalienable rights. The First Amendment is an element of what was/is to be protected through the sovereign individual's servant administration.
