Heretics and Heresies

Ratings and Comments

Mike, Norwalk

I'm not sure 'heresy' is necessarily directed at the weak. Its focus is more directed at a threatening doctrine as was with its original use in religion and now as a doctrinal commentary for all those who will not get in goose step with America's war lords and dole supporting border bashers.

E Archer, NYC

The 'heretics' do not call themselves that -- the name is given by those for whom the 'heresy' is a threat to their power.

Mike, Norwalk

By way of example: 'Inalienable Right(s)' is but one heresy threatening the contemporary power monger's (executive, legislative, judicial, liberal, conservative, etc.).

Ken, Allyn, WA

On the other hand, sometimes the heretics are wrong and the heresy dangerous. Jim Jones comes to mind. Would you like a cup of Kool-Aid with your heresy?
