I don't believe for one moment that Regan wrote this even though he said it! Words are great but deeds win over words.

Robken, Reagan was a proliferate writer and well known for it. And the quote flies in the face of bail outs, stimulus and other falsely named strategies to destroy the nation. Individual. economic freedom is what created the USA as the most dynamic nation in history...socialism is the disease trying to kill it.

The United States was not founded as nor ever intended to be "socialist"....
Capitalism, Free Enterprise and the freedom of every American to pursue their dream to own their own businesnd practice free trade...that is what has made Our Nation Great & Exceptional!  Individuals, small business owners like Edison, Ford, Walton, Gates...started with a dream, hard work, freedom and reward for personal hard work and growth...that's what has made America Great!
